JAMES DARKIN RETURNS WITH WALK THROUGH THE WILD

New album marks ten years since debut Go No Matter What

For Immediate Release

I wasn’t too keen on the press release AI wrote, too many fancy words, made it out to be more important than it is.

This album is born from two decades working behind the glass in recording studios, hundreds of artists, thousands of songs, and many many late nights.

In the end it kind of came about by accident. I wasn’t setting out to make a new album, it just kind of crept up on me.

I’d been back travelling a fair bit recently so most of this was written on the road. Being away from a normal studio gave me a different perspective for working.

The first album was once described as “Uneasy Listening” …  I guess ya could probably file this one on the same shelf.

As for the Halloween release date coinciding with the release of the last record 10 years ago…well sure fuck it why not…it’s my birthday then anyway!
